Five Compelling Arguments for Embracing Peer-to-Peer Lending

Peer-to-peer (P2P) lending is one of the most groundbreaking investment models out there, and I’ve recently become a big fan. There are plenty of reasons to get behind P2P lending, and I want to share my top five with you.

First off, getting rid of the middleman is a huge plus. Platforms like LendingClub and Prosper make it possible for regular people like us to lend and borrow directly from each other. There’s no need for banks, no meetings, and no complicated processes—just straightforward lending between individuals.

What I love about this is the simplicity. After the economic slump, banks have faced a lot of criticism, and it’s great to see people stepping away from that system and helping each other out instead.
