Indiana’s Sam’s Club Offers the Cheapest Gas Prices in the Country

Drivers in Lafayette, Indiana, are getting a great deal on gas at Sam’s Club, where it’s priced at just $1.39 per gallon. According to AAA, the current national average is $2.04, which is over 25% less than it was this time last year. Tom Kloza, the lead oil analyst with the Oil Price Information Service, notes that nearly two-thirds of gas stations in the U.S. are offering gas for under $2 per gallon. The national average could drop below $2 for the first time in almost seven years by the weekend, depending on decisions from the upcoming OPEC meeting, according to Kloza.
